Hello again Beautiful Souls,
I wanted to talk a little bit about divination, in particular runes. I consider myself pretty good at the area of divination. I have been practicing all forms of divination for about five years, and I give tarot readings professionally. Although tarot is my go to form of divination, I would highly recommend beginners start with runes. Runes have been around for so long that their power is massive. Runes are also much simpler than anything, except maybe pendulums, but pendulums need a very high intensity of focused energy, which is something that takes years to develop. For these reasons, I recommend runes for beginners.
I like runes for beginners because you can make them yourself, and you should!! It's very important that you form a bond with your tools. As you create each rune, focus on the meaning and the intent. Runes can be made very easily, out of almost anything. You can use flat stones, slices of wood, tiles, or even beans! My first rune set was made from a bag of lima beans and a sharpie. It makes them easily replaced if lost, small so they can fit anywhere, and easy to use.
I recommend making one rune every two days. Start with the first Fehu. Make it in the morning after learning the meaning. It will take a few seconds.Focus all your energy in the intent of that single rune as you create it, physically and mentally. Then place that rune on your alter, and think about it through your day. Focus on it's symbol and meaning, until it is memorized. When it's time for bed, place your now charged rune under your pillow and go through the next day experiencing how that rune changed your day. It will blow your mind how something so simple can alter your life. Then, the next morning, create another. Spend two days on each rune. I know this process will take you a while, but it is imperative that you KNOW your runes. It's more than being able to recite the meaning and correspondences, but being able to experience each one and KNOW what that rune FEELS like and how it works.
When this is done and you have created all of your runes, start using them simply. Put them in a bowl, and draw up one a day for a month. Experience again how your rune relates to how your day went. By doing this, you will learn to slowly trust your instinct and psychic abilities. After the end of the month, you can start doing more complicated runic readings such as past, present, future, and simple tossing them on a table and see how they laid out, but first you need to know yourself, your intuition, and your runes.
I hope you have enjoyed my thoughts on runes, and I hope you use my experience to build a relationship with your runes. If you ever want a rune, tarot, oracle, or crystal ball reading, DM me on Instagram at Sara_Elf_Leaf .
